Saidia.. Organization of the Seventh International Congress of Urology

The city of Saidia hosted, on September 20 and 21, the seventh conference on urology with the participation of Moroccan and foreign specialists under the chairmanship of Professor Ali Barki, specialist in urology and kidney transplantation and professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Oujda.
This conference was the culmination of Professor Ali Barki’s tireless efforts to build links of science, knowledge, coordination and research between national medical executives and their foreign counterparts and to advance the scientific research complex in the East in particular and in Morocco in general.
The activities of this conference continued for two days, with the first day reserved for resident physicians in the specialty phase, which distinguishes this conference from other national conferences, where scientific and applied workshops were scheduled that addressed the topics of bladder diseases of neurological origin, prostate bulge diseases and laser treatment of kidney stones. Lectures and theoretical courses were also given on topics related to pelvic diseases in women, including bladder prolapse and methods of treating urinary incontinence. The day ended with a practical lesson on how to conduct medical research on the Internet and how to publish medical articles for resident physicians in the specialty phase.
The second day was marked by an intense presence of doctors specializing in urological surgery from various regions of the Kingdom, summoning the best national and foreign experts in this field, and was marked by the transfer of the latest medical discoveries and developments in robotic microsurgery operations, which are currently considered one of the latest technologies in the treatment of urinary tract tumors, and theoretical sections were also scheduled to address new topics regarding the treatment of kidney stones, infertility and sexual dysfunction, the treatment of bladder prolapse, and developments in the treatment of prostate hypertrophy and kidney cancer.
Finally, the conference ended with a synthesis of global developments learned in the field of urology, which will allow participants to develop their skills and deepen their knowledge in this field.
