The Board of Directors of the Bank of Morocco decided, during its meeting held Tuesday in Rabat, to keep the main interest rate unchanged at 2.75 percent.
The Bank of Morocco explained, in a press release following the third quarterly meeting of its board for the year 2024, that “the board deemed it appropriate to maintain the current direction of monetary policy.”
It has therefore decided to keep the key interest rate unchanged at 2.75 percent, while continuing to closely monitor developments in the economic and social situation.
