Arrest of a young person for call hacking in Marrakech

Marrakech police recently put an end to the actions of a young man suspected of phone hacking. Authorities arrested a 27-year-old man accused of compromising automatic digital data processing systems and hacking into phone calls.
According to information provided by law enforcement, the suspect allegedly used electronic devices and computer applications to divert international calls to local lines, thus allowing him to make financial profits by exploiting pricing differences between these types of calls. The arrest of this young man follows a complaint filed by one of the national telecommunications service providers.
