Eid al-Fitr holiday: Exceptional day off for students on Saturday April 13

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education and Youth and Sports announced the exceptional suspension of classes in establishments under its supervision on Saturday April 13, 2024, including all educational institutions, whether public or private.

The ministry specified in a press release that this decision was taken on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, echoing the government press release published on Thursday, April 4, 2024, concerning exceptional leave for Eid al-Fitr. Fitr, with the aim of guaranteeing favorable conditions to celebrate this religious occasion, in particular to allow students, teachers and educational and administrative staff who wish to travel to spend the Eid holidays outside their city of study or work .

Furthermore, the Prime Ministry announced an exceptional holiday for civil servants on Friday April 12 on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
