ONCF: A Special Transportation Plan for Eid Al-Fitr

As Eid Al-Fitr 1445 approaches, and in anticipation of the influx of travelers experienced during this period, the National Railway Office (ONCF) is implementing a special transport plan from Friday 5 to Tuesday April 16, 2024. The objective is to ensure customer travel in the best conditions of comfort and safety.

This plan includes the scheduling of additional trains, with up to 240 trains per day, particularly in the most popular destinations such as Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga and Safi.

To facilitate travel, the ONCF is also strengthening the teams responsible for welcoming and guiding passengers in stations and on board trains. Technical teams are also mobilized 24 hours a day to supervise the fluidity of rail traffic.

In order to better plan travel during this busy period, the ONCF recommends that customers anticipate the purchase of tickets and opt for purchasing a return ticket in order to avoid queues. waiting at the station and guaranteeing a seat on the trains.

Tickets can be purchased at stations at ticket counters or from Automatic Ticket Dispensers (DAT), online on the merchant site www.oncf-voyages.ma, or from partner local sales agencies such as Cash Plus, Barid Cash and Tasshilat.

To obtain information on train schedules during this period, travelers can consult the merchant site www.oncf-voyages.ma, contact the Customer Relations Center at 2255, use the ONCF TRAFIC app to monitor the traffic situation in real time, or contact the M’ONCF chatbot on 06 67 65 22 55.

Additionally, on Eid, the number of trains will be reduced, so travelers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.

ONCF is doing everything it can to offer its customers a pleasant and secure travel experience during this festive period of Eid Al-Fitr.
