World Cup plans… Morocco adopts 5G before 2030

Major projects have been launched in Morocco in recent months in all sectors and in many regions of the kingdom, with serious and rapid preparations for the CAN and the World Cup. Everyone is mobilizing so that Morocco can rise to the occasion of continental and global events.
The preparation is not limited to stadiums and their associated facilities, but also extends to various infrastructure in the country, such as railways, roads, hotels and services.

Among the projects launched by Morocco, we also find those linked to the development of the information and communications technology and digital services sector, Morocco having decided to adopt 5G technology before 2030.

This subject was discussed during the meeting of the National Committee for Digital Development with the Presidency of the Government, where Aziz Akhannouch was informed of a presentation made by Ghita Mizouri, the Minister Delegate in charge of digital transition and reform of administration, on the general directions of digital development through the Digital Morocco 2030 plan, and it was officially decided to adopt the 5G service in Morocco before the World Cup.
