Tibu Africa organizes the “Sports Generation” Festival in the 12 regions of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Tibu Africa is organizing the “Sports Generation” festival in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports (MENPS), the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), the UEFA Foundation for Children, corporate citizen Nareva and other private partners on the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
Context :
Each year, April 6 marks a global celebration of growing importance: the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. This special day was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2013, following a bold proposal from the Kingdom of Morocco, recognizing the unique power of sport as a vector of peace and development throughout the world. Resolution A/RES/67/296 encourages all Member States, organizations of the United Nations system, and other international and regional actors, as well as the private sector and civil society, including NGOs and individuals, to celebrate this day in a way that respects national priorities and promotes the values of sport as a powerful tool for social inclusion, education and health.
The Génération Sportive Festival:
The Génération Sportive Festival aims to encourage rising generations to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, to promote the values of sport such as fair play, cooperation and mutual respect, as well as to raise awareness of the positive impact of sport on personal and community development.
The Festival, which takes place simultaneously in around a hundred schools located in rural and urban areas in the 12 regions of the kingdom, includes a series of sports and fun activities adapted to the age of the students, such as sports and educational stations , races, team games, introductions to STEM and robotics and workshops on nutrition and health.
On this occasion, Mohamed Amine Zariat, President of the NGO Tibu Africa declared: “The “Sports Generation” festival is an invitation to discover the power of sport to improve health, encourage equality, and celebrate peace. By bringing together students, teachers, and parents, we create a space to learn, share and grow through sport. This event is an opportunity for everyone to see how sport can build bridges between people, strengthen our community and inspire us to live a better future. »
The Génération Sportive Festival is a meeting for students, parents, sports-health facilitators and teachers to meet and explore together how sport, health and new technologies can enrich the rising generations.
Key figures of the Génération Sportive program between May 2022 and April 2024:
