Security agents from the second district – Qashish – of the security wilaya of Marrakech were able to arrest a person involved in the theft of several stores and houses in the ancient city.
According to available data, the suspect had committed previous thefts that affected several locations, including the “Dar Al-Soura” museum in the Banahid Hall.
The same data indicates that after reviewing surveillance cameras and carrying out a careful investigation, the police were able to identify the suspect and arrest him at a traditional hotel in the same area. During the search, a stolen phone was found in his possession, along with a group of other stolen items from his bedroom.
The accused was referred to the judicial police on the instructions of the competent public prosecutor in order to further investigate the charges against him.
