The Interim Commission for Business Management of the Press and Publishing Sector (National Press Council) announced that it will begin receiving application files for obtaining the professional journalism card for the contribution 2025, from November 1st.
The commission indicated, in a press release, that it informs all journalists, men and women, working in national media institutions that it will begin to receive application files for obtaining a professional journalism card for year 2025 during two sessions, noting that during the first session, files will be submitted from November 1 to December 10, 2024, and complete files with missing documents from January 2 to February 28, 2025.
As for the second session, the files will be submitted from March 3 to April 30, 2025, and the files will be completed with the missing documents from May 2 to June 30, 2025.
The commission underlined that the submission of files is carried out via the electronic platform (cartepro.cnp.press.ma), the only means of submitting applications for professional press cards, in order to facilitate the process of submitting applications and to allow for candidates to follow the progress of their files. money from their files.
Regarding the request to obtain a professional press card for the first time, she indicated that those concerned must pre-register and submit their application on the electronic platform, attach their registration request form to the required documents and submit them. directly with the competent services of the Council, after making an appointment on the above-mentioned platform.
The Interim Committee informs all journalists, women and men, that it has set up a special system in accordance with the legal and regulatory requirements in force, specifying the documents required according to each type of professional journalist, adding that said system can be consulted at through the following link to the council’s website www.cnp.press.ma.
