HIBAPRESS-RABAT
If the final agenda for Emmanuel Macron’s visit has not been formally validated at this stage, the Elysée has announced that several events are planned during his stay in Morocco
Today, Monday October 28, 2024, upon his arrival in Rabat this afternoon (5:00 p.m.), the French President will be welcomed by HM King Mohammed VI with a “face-to-face” meeting between the two leaders, which will be followed by an agreement signing ceremony.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, Emmanuel Macron will continue “political meetings” with, first of all, an interview planned with Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch.
At the end of these exchanges, the Head of State will head to the Mohammed V Mausoleum for “a moment of contemplation” before a speech which will be delivered to the Moroccan Parliament. A dinner will then be held at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI in honor of Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.
The visit will then be punctuated by meetings with personalities from various sectors in which France and Morocco wish to increase their cooperation.
For Wednesday, Emmanuel Macron will close his visit with a reception offered to the French community of Morocco, which has 53,000 nationals.
