The Head of Government meets with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, had meetings, Monday April 15, 2024 in Rabat, with Mr. Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium, who is making a working visit to Morocco as part of the holding of the 3rd session of the High Joint Morocco-Belgium Partnership Commission.
During these meetings, in which the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Federal cultural institutions, Ms. Hadja Lahbib; the two parties welcomed the solidity of bilateral relations and the qualitative evolution that they have experienced over recent years, with a view to establishing a strategic partnership responding to the aspirations of the two Kingdoms, under the conduct of HM King Mohammed VI may God help him and King Philippe of Belgium.
The two parties also examined ways to strengthen the partnership between Rabat and Brussels and give it new impetus commensurate with the age-old ties of friendship between the two countries, so as to take advantage of the significant potential that exists.
These talks were also an opportunity to recall the joint declaration adopted in Rabat in October 2022 and to reiterate the importance of holding a regular political dialogue and structuring the Moroccan-Belgian partnership in the various areas of common interest. .
