The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, held a meeting on Monday in Rabat with professionals in the red meat sector, as part of preparations for the ‘Eid al-Adha.

The president of the National Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders (ANOC), Abderrahmane Mejdoubi, for his part, stressed that the operation to identify the sheep and goat herd intended for sacrifice on the occasion of Eid al -Adha began a month and ten days ago and now more than 2 million heads have been identified, ensuring that the operation is taking place in a “very normal” manner.
