The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced, Tuesday, that the increase of 750 DH monthly (1st tranche) in teachers’ salaries will be paid at the same time as salaries for the month of April, with effect retroactive from January 2024.

This operation takes place after the completion of all the necessary steps and procedures, in coordination between the competent services of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports and the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, specifies the ministry in a communicated.

This increase is part of the implementation of the agreements of December 10 and 26, 2023 between the government and the most representative education unions, which provide for a general increase in salaries for all teaching staff. teaching of a net monthly amount of 1,500 dirhams, to be paid in two installments (January 1, 2024 – January 1, 2025), adds the same source.
