Medical students reject government offer and vote against resuming studies
Heba Press / Rabat
We learn that the majority of medical students voted this Wednesday evening to reject the government’s proposal presented by the Kingdom’s mediator.
The voting process was conducted in person via ballot boxes at various medical faculties across the Kingdom.
The government’s proposal to end the strikes was mainly aimed at excluding students in grades 2-5 and 6 from the 6-year study system and forcing them to study for 7 years. This means that the freshmen who participated in the strike. a year ago will not be subject to the 7-year system.
