In Tangier… Arrest of a person in possession of 1,800 narcotic pills

The police forces of the Tangier security prefecture succeeded, yesterday evening, Wednesday April 17, in arresting an individual suspected of involvement in a case linked to the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.

The suspect was arrested in the city of Tangier, in flagrante delicto of possession and trafficking of drugs. The search operation revealed in his possession 1,800 “Zepam” type tablets and doses of cocaine, as well as a sum of money suspected of being the result of this criminal activity.

The suspect was subjected to a judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office in order to determine all the circumstances and the reasons behind this case, as well as to arrest other possible participants in this criminal activity.
