11th edition of National Consumer Day under the theme: “saving water, a responsibility of all”

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce indicates that the 11th edition of National Consumer Day, under the theme “the water economy, a responsibility of all” which will be organized tomorrow Thursday, in partnership with the Ministry of Equipment and Water and the Federations of Consumer Protection Associations and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, aims to highlight the role of the consumer in the preservation of water resources, and to raise awareness about water saving in accordance with the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The event, which will be co-chaired by the Minister of Industry and Commerce Ryad Mezzour and the Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka, particularly aims to promote environmentally friendly behavior among citizens, promoting responsible consumption of water resources and examining the best approaches for effective communication in this area.
As a result, the 11th edition will establish transparent and regular communication for the benefit of citizens on the evolution of the national water situation and the emergency measures implemented, as well as raising awareness among the general public about the economy. water, which will be made absolute priorities in view of the difficult climatic context that Morocco has suffered in recent years.
By adopting responsible consumption habits, citizens contribute greatly to the sustainability of water resources and a reliable and healthy water supply for all.
This edition will also be an opportunity to present advances in consumer protection, to inform Moroccan consumers about their rights and to highlight the actions carried out by the ministry to improve the framework for consumerism in Morocco.
