The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has warned its policyholders against imposters who attempt to fraudulently collect banking data by posing as Fund agents.
“The National Social Security Fund disavows impostors who have contacted several citizens by impersonating representatives of the CNSS, in order to ask them for their bank details,” warned the CNSS in a press release published Monday.
In order to protect its policyholders, adds the same source, “the CNSS draws their attention to the risk linked to the communication of personal data and information to unreliable third parties, which can be a form of fraud and malicious use of their personal data”.
To this end, “the CNSS will proceed with the prosecution of any person involved in this matter, and will take all necessary legal measures against them,” underlines the press release.
The CNSS calls on all its policyholders to verify the credibility of information concerning it, or relating to its relationship with them, by following its official website www.CNSS.ma and its official pages on social media, concludes the text.
