Signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Court of Auditors and the United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority

A memorandum of understanding was signed, Monday in Rabat, between the Court of Auditors and the United Arab Emirates Authority (UAE) for accountability with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in the field of control financial and auditing.
This memorandum of understanding is part of the continuity of the historical relations established between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco, indicated the First President of the Court of Auditors, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui in a statement to the press at the end of the signing ceremony of this agreement.
In this sense, Ms. El Adaoui emphasized the importance of the exchange of expertise, particularly in terms of digital transition with a view to further improving the performance of these two control bodies in Morocco and the UAE. , and thus face the constraints and challenges inherent in this field.
For his part, the president of the UAE Accountability Authority, Humaid Obaid Abushibs, noted that the signing of this “historic” memorandum of understanding on the occasion of his visit to Morocco in the company of a important delegation, essentially aims to consolidate joint cooperation in the field of audit and financial control, in order to serve the interests of both countries.
