The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food revealed that Spanish exports to Morocco reached a record level in 2023, with a value of 12.146 billion euros, an increase of 3.3 % compared to 2022, well above the growth of Spanish sales globally.
The ministry specified that Spain is the main supplier of goods and services to Morocco, with a market share of 14%. On the other hand, Morocco mainly imports electrical equipment, clothing, equipment, automobile components, accessories and fish from Spain.
Spanish food exports to Morocco in 2023 reached 1.155 billion euros, an increase of 8.3% compared to the previous year.
Since 2019, these sales have almost tripled, with an increase of around 135%, according to the Spanish ministry.
