CAF declares the Berkane Renaissance team victorious by 3-0 against the Union Sportive de la Médina d’Algiers

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced today, Wednesday, its decision regarding the canceled match between the Renaissance club of Berkane and the Union Sportive de la Médina d’Algiers last weekend, as part of of the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup.

The Clubs and Competitions Commission of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) considered that the Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger lost by three goals to zero against the Renaissance of Berkane.

It should be noted that the first leg match between the Berkane Renaissance team and the Union Sportive de la Médina d’Alger, scheduled to take place, was canceled due to the confiscation by the Algerian authorities of the official jersey of the Moroccan team carrying the complete map of the kingdom.
