The Algerian Gymnastics Federation boycotts the African Gymnastics Championship from April 30 to May 7, 2024 in Marrakech

The Algerian Gymnastics Federation is on the verge of forfeiting the next African Gymnastics Championship from April 30 to May 7, 2024 which will take place in Marrakech and qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games, and excludes that its boycott is linked to the crisis of jerseys that broke during the CAF Cup semi-final encounter between RSB and USMA

The Royal Moroccan Gymnastics Federation had previously sent a request to the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, so that Marrakech could host this qualifying edition for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, having already acquired the agreement of the African Confederation of Gymnastics and the Moroccan National Olympic Committee
