The ONMT connects Gran Canaria to Ouarzazate with Binter

The airline Binter Canarias, in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), will set up, from July, a new route between Gran Canaria and Ouarzazate for the 2024 summer season.

“After the programming of the cities of Essaouira and Tangier, it is the turn of Ouarzazate to be connected to the archipelago, thus allowing new growth opportunities for the southern destination and its hinterland which is full of natural wonders , architectural and cultural. From the month of July, Ouarzazate airport will be connected on a weekly basis to Las Palmas, every Saturday,” indicates the Office in a press release.

This new road is the result of joint work between Binter Canarias and the ONMT who together continue the development of roads connecting the Canaries to the different regions of Morocco.

A joint communication campaign is planned to accompany the launch of this new service aimed at encouraging Canarians to come and discover the tourist potential offered by the region and to live new experiences.

The destination of Tangier will also see the strengthening of its programming from the month of July, with the introduction by the airline of an additional frequency to move to 2 weekly frequencies, i.e. Wednesday and Saturday.
