A French newspaper: Morocco is preparing to join the closed circle of military drone manufacturers

The newspaper “Le Monde” revealed that Morocco is preparing to join the closed circle of African countries manufacturing military drones.
The newspaper quoted the founder and president of the Israeli company BlueBird Aero Systems, indicating that the drone production unit has started operations in Morocco, and that work will begin in the near future.

The newspaper added that the WanderB and ThunderB type drones are mainly intended for reconnaissance and detection missions of wired and wireless communications.

The French newspaper went on to say that Morocco, which has long-term cooperation with many African armies, could help sell drones manufactured on its territory to coastal and West African countries with urgent demands in regarding air capabilities.
