The ENR Cluster launches the call for projects for the “Green Business Incubator 2024” program

The ENR Cluster launched, on Monday, the call for projects for the “Green Business Incubator” 2024 support program which is dedicated to innovative startups operating in the field of renewable energies (EnR), CleanTech and GreenTech.
Launched in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tamwilcom, this call for projects, whose deadline is June 3, aims to select 20 innovative startups in order to benefit from a support program a renewable duration of 12 months including several services (accommodation, skills building, financing and connection & networking), indicates the ENR Cluster in the regulations of this call for projects.
In addition, a maximum of 12 startups could possibly benefit from “Tech Start” financing under the “Innov Invest Fund” (FII), adds the same source, specifying that a minimum of 20% of the investment program to be financed must be engaged by the startup as self-financing prior to the disbursement of financing under the FII.
To be eligible, the startup must be based in Morocco, have less than 5 years of experience, and present an innovative project, reports the ENR Cluster, noting that possible access to “Tech Start” financing takes the form of a financial contribution of up to 400,000 DH for startups with invention patents and which can cover up to 80% of the expenses linked to the realization of the innovative project.
And to remind that the selection process for the integration of the “Green Business Incubator” takes place in 5 key stages, namely “reception of application files”, “pre-selection”, “Bootcamp” (program of 48-hour training led by experts and coaches to support pre-selected candidates in completing and detailing their projects, accelerating their development processes and preparing their pitches), “the Pitch” (candidates appear before the selection committee to defend their project ) and “the selection and integration of the incubation program”.
Launched in 2014 by the ENR Cluster and the Moroccan Climate Innovation Center (MCIC – Moroccan Climate Innovation Center), the “Green Business Incubator”’s mission is to support and support the development of startups operating in the renewable energy sector. , Green Technologies and the environment for a positive and lasting impact on the socio-economic development of Morocco.
The ENR Cluster is a non-profit association which aims to spread the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at all levels of the green technology value chain. To this end, the Cluster provides a range of support services to innovative companies, startups and business creation project leaders in the renewable energy sector.
As for the MCIC, its ambition is to become a business hub for Moroccan and regional companies in clean technologies, by supporting entrepreneurs in green sectors and promoting the transfer of modern technologies. This center aims to contribute to the development of innovative business solutions adapted to the challenges linked to climate change.
