Women’s U17 national team loses to Portugal in first friendly game

The Moroccan national women under-17 team lost to Portugal on Tuesday, after ending the game 0-8.

The first game was held in the Portuguese city of Santarem, while the second game will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m.

Those two friendly games come as part of preparations ahead of India World Cup, which is set to take place in October.

The national team will play in group A countries, alongside India (the host country), the US, and Brazil.
