Ministry denies rumors about acquisition of luxury cars, reveals tender details

The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform has broken its silence regarding rumors circulating about the acquisition of 4 luxury cars for an amount exceeding 480 million centimes. The ministry denied the veracity of the information circulating, stressing that it is an open call for tenders published on the portal www.marchespublics.gov.ma, bearing the number 4/24/MTNRA.

In a press release, the ministry added that this call for tenders concerns the acquisition of 5 category 2 sedan cars, with a total value of 1,273,104 dirhams, as well as 1 hybrid car with a total value of 2,479,908 dirhams.

This call for tenders is part of the renewal of the vehicle fleet of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, which has not been renewed for several years, with maintenance costs and obsolescence cars that this implies.

Faced with all these false allegations, the ministry insisted on its “right to take the necessary legal measures to counter this type of allegations and false news likely to mislead public opinion”
