Mr. Benmoussa chaired a working session with the CNOM on Morocco’s preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool Education and Sports, chaired, yesterday Friday, May 10, 2024, at the ministry’s headquarters in Rabat, a working session with the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, devoted to monitoring and examining the measures taken to ensure the best possible participation of Morocco in the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, which will be organized between July 26 and August 11, 2024.

The measures taken consist of providing the necessary support and accompaniment to participating Moroccan athletes, in order to prepare them for competitions and to contribute to the improvement of Moroccan sporting performances.

During this session, a partnership agreement was also signed for the construction of a new headquarters for the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, which is being renovated in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup and the 2030 World Cup. .

In conclusion, the minister praised the efforts made by the CNOM to promote national sport and ensure its visibility at the international level, and called for consultation to achieve honorable performances during this global event.
