A videotape widely distributed on social networks (Hiba Press could not confirm the date of its capture) showed a person attempting to forcibly rape a woman in the “Maliponio” district, near the Corniche of Tangier.
The clip shows the person concerned attempting to rape a woman using force, in broad daylight, before the intervention of a passerby whose attention was attracted by the woman’s screams and pleas, after which the attacker fled to an unknown destination.
It is likely that the attacker was under the influence of alcohol or celiac disease, as the area appearing in the video is a haven for users of this type of narcotic substance.
