ARAB SUMMIT / TODAY, OPENING IN MANAMA OF THE PREPARATORY MEETING AT THE LEVEL OF FOREIGN MINISTERS: MOROCCO PRESENT IN FORCE

The Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers opened, on May 14, 2024 in Manama, the work of its preparatory meeting for the 33rd ordinary Arab summit scheduled for today, Thursday.
Morocco is represented at this ministerial meeting by a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad Mr. Nasser Bourita.
The Moroccan Delegation is composed of MM. Mohamed Ait Ouali, Moroccan ambassador to Cairo and permanent delegate of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Mustapha Benkhayi, Moroccan ambassador to Bahrain, Abdelali Al-Jahed head of the Arab and Islamic Organizations Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Mostafa Rezzouk Head of the Mashreq Division at the ministry, and Hicham Ould Essallay Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League.
This preparatory meeting was preceded by a series of meetings of ministerial commissions responsible for monitoring a certain number of specific questions.
The Arab Foreign Ministers will examine in particular the draft agenda of the Arab Summit in Bahrain as well as the draft resolutions that will result from it.
