The DGSN launches the new “E-Blagh” platform for the fight against cybercrime

A new platform called “E-Blagh”, dedicated to the fight against cybercrime, was launched during the 5th edition of the Open Days (JPO) of the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), organized on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the creation of this Institution.

Developed by executives and experts from National Security and Territorial Surveillance, this platform aims to involve internet users in the fight against digital crime, said Laila Zouine, Principal Commissioner, in a statement to MAP. , head of the criminal evidence and photography department at the central directorate of the judicial police at the DGSN.

Internet users can now report any illegal content distributed on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whether they become victims of said content or become aware of it, such as online scams, sexual exploitation of children , sextortion, terrorism or the apology of terrorism, incitement to discrimination, hatred and violence, or threats to commit crimes, among others, underlined Ms. Zouine, also responsible for the stand of the cybercrime at these JPOs.

The said stand aims to raise visitors’ awareness of the different forms of cybercrime, as well as ways to prevent them, through various workshops and information and awareness leaflets.

Remember that the 5th edition of the DGSN JPOs kicked off on Thursday evening in Agadir, under the theme “National security: citizenship and solidarity”.

This citizen initiative, which will continue until May 21, aims to inform the public about the modernization efforts put in place by the DGSN to ensure the safety of people and property and preserve public order.
