9th African Pétanque Championship in Marrakech: Everything about the FRM Pétanque press conference

Yesterday, Wednesday, May 22 in the afternoon, a press conference took place in a Palace in the capital Rabat around the organization of Morocco through the FRMP of the 9th African Pétanque Championship in Marrakech from 06 to Next May 9

In this conference followed by numerous journalists, the debates were very rich in lessons where the president of the FRMP Mr. Khalid Mansouri had demonstrated all his talent and his multiple abilities to be able to convince in all sincerity, with even objective and concrete facts. on delicate tricky questions regarding his presence before the CD of the International Federation where he came out with striking and conclusive arguments, which restored the image of the Kingdom of Morocco

Mr. Mansouri also made it known that the choice of Marrakech is above all of tourist interest and that he wishes at the same time that he would have liked the next edition to take place in one of our dear cities of our Moroccan Sahara in Laayoune or Dakhla.

For the public record, the president estimates that with the presence of numerous tourists, Marrakech families eager for pétanque and everyone who wants to discover this Discipline would be present at the competitions, especially since the Lalla Meryem Covered Room of M’ Hamid can hold up to 2500 people

This Championship complies with FIP rules and as a result, all participants will find themselves in a most favorable environment.

This Championship is in itself a kind of Sports Diplomacy following in particular the High Directives of HM King Mohammed VI who encourages the immense openness towards Africa in view of our confrontation with the presence of friendly African countries in this competition and which will benefit the image of Morocco because we are certain that this Championship will be a great success on all levels, the organizers seem to leave nothing to chance in a context which can make Morocco the example to follow

The Press conference spoke about the chances of our champions and that our champions will have to do more than their efforts to get us Gold as insisted by the TD of the National Team Mr. Qotbi who swears by by Gold and nothing but Gold and not for the Podium

By attending this conference and having approached all the members concerned more closely, including MM. Bellaamri, spokesperson for the FRMP, Seddik Garmah S/G of both the African Pétanque Confederation and the FRMP, we are convinced that the FRMP is based on credibility to want to succeed in an African Championship which will open the year for it. next the destinies of the World Championship where our champions will forever excel and through which Morocco will be able to best define its policy of hosting the biggest sporting events in the World in all Sports Disciplines
