Morocco among the best destinations to enjoy snowy landscapes in Africa.

The South African newspaper “Independent Online” reported today, Friday, that Morocco is one of the best tourist destinations to discover and enjoy the beauty of snowy landscapes in Africa.

The newspaper pointed out that “while Africa, with its diverse landscapes, is known for its bright sunshine, some regions are distinguished by a cold climate and snowfall in winter”, highlighting the importance of highlighting the diversity of tourist offers on the continent.

The newspaper indicated that the Oukaïmeden ski resort, located in the Atlas range, near Mount Toubkal (80 km southeast of Marrakech), embodies the varied tourist offer that Morocco benefits from.

The newspaper added that this elevated region is the one that receives the greatest amounts of snow in Morocco, a country that also benefits from desert landscapes. He said Oukaïmeden enjoys a Mediterranean climate with a hot summer and a long cold winter characterized by heavy snowfall.

The newspaper affirmed that hotel infrastructure and ski equipment rental centers are available nearby, stressing that the best time to visit this region is from December to April, during winter.
