Casablanca, 18th edition of the Mohammed VI International Karate Cup: a unique experience


The Royal Moroccan Federation of Karate and Similar Disciplines announced that the 18th edition of the Mohammed VI International Karate Cup, placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, will take place from May 31 to June 2, 2024 in Casablanca.

This event is also the fifth stage of the “Premier League of Karate 1”, the most prestigious championship in the world of this sport, organized under the aegis of the World Karate Federation (WKF).

Since its inception in 2011, the K1 Super League has evolved to bring together the world’s best karate athletes in competitions of exceptional quality. The 2024 edition will include five events on different continents, including Casablanca which will be one of the host cities.

The previous edition, in 2023, saw the participation of more than 400 athletes from 60 countries, the 2024 edition is expected to have a record number of more than 1,200 participants, from more than 80 countries.

For the first time, a major ceremony will be organized to honor the winners of each category, in recognition of the exceptional performances of these elite athletes.

This edition is also a unique experience, because it will offer karatekas the opportunity to relaunch the championship and win medals which will immortalize their sporting career.
