The government is giving hope to those excluded from direct social support due to the index.

Rejoicing news announced by Fouzi Lekjaa, the Minister Delegate to the Ministry of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget, concerning direct social support.
Lekjaa confirmed during an intervention at a meeting of the majority parliamentary groups that the social register is based on criteria evaluating the purchasing power of families, in order to determine the beneficiaries.
The delegate minister specified that currently, 3.7 million families benefited from direct social support, while the number of applicants exceeded 4 million families.
Lekjaa insisted that the government will not exclude any deserving family, being open to the possibility of regularly reviewing these criteria as well as the index, so that the support reaches all eligible categories, and that deserving families also benefit despite current index data.
