Talbi El Alami present at the inauguration of the President of El Salvador

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, represented King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of El Salvador, Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez, which took place on Saturday in San Salvador.

Mr. Bukele Ortez was re-elected last February for a second term following his victory in the first round of the presidential election with 84.65% of the votes.

The official inauguration ceremony of Mr. Bukele Ortez took place in the presence of numerous heads of state and government, as well as representatives of legislative institutions, the diplomatic corps accredited to El Salvador and other personalities.

During this ceremony, Mr. Talbi El Alami conveyed to Mr. Bukele Ortez the greetings and congratulations of King Mohammed VI, as well as his sincere wishes for success and further progress and prosperity for the Republic of El Salvador.

The President of the House of Representatives was accompanied on this occasion by the Chargé d’affaires at the Moroccan embassy in El Salvador, Brahim Badi.

In a message addressed to Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez on the occasion of his re-election to the supreme office of El Salvador, the King expressed to Mr. Bukele Ortez his warm congratulations and his most sincere wishes for every success in the leadership of his country friend towards greater progress and prosperity.

On this occasion, the Sovereign expressed his satisfaction with the solid relations uniting the two countries, based on friendship and mutual esteem, welcoming the constant dynamic experienced by bilateral cooperation in various areas of common interest.

The King reiterated, in this regard, his determination to continue to work together with Mr. Bukele Ortez to raise relations between Morocco and El Salvador to the level of the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.
