6 dead and 40 injured by poisoning… Increase in victims of adulterated alcohol in the surroundings of Kenitra.

The death toll from adulterated alcohol in the region of Sidi Allal Tazi, near the town of Kenitra, rose to 6 dead and around 40 people intoxicated.

The emergency department of Idrissi hospital in Kenitra received, until the early hours of this Tuesday, dozens of young people presenting symptoms of intoxication and having declared having consumed a quantity of “adulterated” alcohol.

According to a local source, local authorities in the Sidi Tazi region have mobilized to search for young people who have consumed this substance, in order to transport them to hospital and ensure their state of health.
