Morocco-Catalonia: Growth in trade

In 2023, Catalonia’s exports to Morocco increased by 9.3%, reaching 2,157 million euros, or 2.1% of total Catalan exports. Likewise, imports from Morocco increased by 16.7%, reaching 1,889 million euros, representing 1.7% of total Catalan imports.

Several emerging sectors have been identified as presenting significant growth potential for Spanish companies in Morocco. In particular, the electricity and electronics sectors offer promising opportunities for Catalan entrepreneurs wishing to expand their presence in the Moroccan market.
