The generalization of the “Pioneer Schools” project at the center of a visit by Mr. Benmoussa

The Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa visited, on Friday, the development center for education and training of El Hajeb where he learned about the conditions for running a session training on the approach to teaching at the appropriate level (TaRL).
This training session is organized for the benefit of teachers from establishments participating in the “pioneer schools” project for the next academic season.
The organization of this session is part of preparations aimed at expanding, during the 2024/2025 academic season, the “Pioneer Schools” model to 2,000 public primary schools for the benefit of approximately one million students across the country. Morocco.
It fits perfectly with the objectives and commitments of the 2022-2026 roadmap, which aims to establish a new model for a quality public school for all through improving the quality of basic learning by investing in methods and modern teaching approaches, by developing students’ skills, reducing school dropouts and strengthening student development.
In a statement to the press, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports stressed that 32,000 teachers benefit from this practical training spread over two phases.
He added that the first, which took place from May 27 to June 4, benefited some 16,000 teachers, while the second (June 6/13) benefited 16,000 teachers.
This training session, he said, aims to enable teachers to improve their professional practices through the mastery of new and effective educational and pedagogical techniques and practices.
In this context, educational inspectors will work to supervise and train teachers through the presentation of a theoretical aspect and the adoption of diagnostic and simulation techniques.
Teachers will be able to find out about activities and digital materials relating to the approaches adopted through a special platform which includes capsules, guides and lessons ready to master the approach.
These training sessions are supervised by around 500 educational inspectors at the national level, who have benefited from training, focused on meetings with international experts, practical workshops, in addition to simulation activities at class level to master the implementation practice approaches and identify difficulties.
It should be noted that the educational approach according to the appropriate level (TaRL) mainly aims to help students overcome the difficulties that hinder their school career, particularly at the primary cycle level, through the acquisition of basic learning in Arabic languages. and French and mathematics via interactive, effective and fun activities.
