The city of Taza saw, on Monday evening, May 26, a serious traffic accident after a light car fell into a deep hole in the middle of the road, along the health center, Al -wahda, due to current work which were not attached to alert signals or in warning panels.
The driver was surprised by the presence of the hole without warning, which made him lose control and suddenly fell inside, in a scene behind the offer of passers -by – by serious material damage to the car. Immediately, the rescue car intervened and the car was recovered, while a magistracy commissioner published a report by the incident.
Enlightened sources have confirmed that the driver intended to bring a complaint against the Taza group’s council, accusing him of neglecting to ensure security conditions, in a decision that could open the accounting file on repeated negligence in the management of the city’s public workshops.
The accident triggered a general anger among road users and residents of the neighborhood, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the repetition of such facts following the absence of the simplest prevention procedures, demanding that contracts be forced to put clear vision signs and assume legal responsibility.
This painful incident returns to the foreground a strict monitoring of the demand for works workshops and to hold responsible gaps, in order to preserve the life and security of citizens.
