Moroccan singer Hatim Ammor sparked a media storm by announcing his refusal to give concerts in Algeria. This decision sparked a lot of reactions from his Algerian fans.

Hatim Ammor, during a recent concert, announced that he was the last to refuse to give concerts in Algeria, despite the numerous offers he had received.

Hatim Ammor did not go out of his way to retort firmly: “Whoever imposed a blockade on us, we will also impose a blockade on him”, alluding in particular to the very tense relations between Morocco and Algeria on the question of Moroccan Sahara and the unilateral cutting of diplomatic relations on the part of Algeria
