Advice from the Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc on the occasion of the celebration of the Aid Al Adha holiday

HIBAPRESS-RABAT-ADM
On the eve of Aid Al Adha, the Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) informs motorway users that the entire motorway network will experience a significant increase in traffic, particularly during the following time slots:
– Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 14, 15 and 16, 2024 between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.
– Tuesday June 18, 2024, which will coincide with returns from the Aid Al Adha holidays, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
For a safe and comfortable trip, ADM recommends that users:
– Organize their trips in advance, and find out about the current traffic situation by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application;
– Stay alert to weather alerts, and be vigilant in the event of gusts of wind, rain or fog. Users of the Taza-Oujda motorway are particularly called upon to take the necessary precautions following the announcement of strong gusts of wind with local dust blowers, by the General Directorate of Meteorology, on Saturday June 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
– Take breaks every two hours;
– Check the mechanical condition of the vehicle, in particular the tire check – Do not occupy the Emergency Stop Lane except in cases of extreme emergency;
– Check the remaining balance on their Jawaz Pass and recharge it before taking the highway. The objective is to avoid queues and maneuvers due to the discovery of the exhausted balance when switching to the automatic lane.
For its part, to manage the heavy traffic experienced during this period and offer a safe and pleasant journey to motorway users, ADM is organizing itself, like exceptional periods, in total vigilance mode which consists in particular of strengthening teams responsible for traffic management and assistance, anticipated maintenance of equipment and upkeep of infrastructure, strengthening communication with users and close collaboration with all stakeholders on the network highway.
Finally, ADM wishes Aid Mubarak and happy holidays to all highway users.
