Eid El Adha: Autoroutes du Maroc presents its advice for a safe trip

On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) informs motorway users that the entire motorway network will experience a significant increase in traffic, presenting them with a series of recommendations for a safe and comfortable journey.
In a press release, ADM expects significant traffic particularly during the following time slots: Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 14, 15 and 16 between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. and Tuesday June 18, which will coincide with the return from school holidays. ‘Eid Al Adha, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
For a secure and comfortable trip, ADM recommends that users organize their trips in advance, find out about the instant traffic situation by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application and remain attentive to weather alerts, being vigilant in case of gusts of wind, rain or fog, underlines the same source, noting that users of the Taza-Oujda motorway axis are particularly called upon to take the necessary precautions following the announcement of strong gusts of wind with hunting -local dust, by the General Directorate of Meteorology, on Saturday June 15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
ADM also advises users to take breaks every two hours, to check the mechanical condition of the vehicle, in particular checking the tires, not to use the emergency lane except in cases of extreme emergency and to check the balance remaining on their Jawaz Pass, making sure to recharge it before taking the highway, adds the press release, specifying that the objective is to avoid queues and maneuvers due to the discovery of the balance exhausted when switching to the automatic lane.
For its part, to manage the heavy traffic experienced during this period and offer a safe and pleasant journey to motorway users, ADM ensures that it is organized, like exceptional periods, in total vigilance mode which consists of in particular by strengthening the teams responsible for traffic management and assistance, the anticipated maintenance of equipment and the upkeep of the infrastructure, the strengthening of communication with the user and close collaboration with all stakeholders on the motorway network.
