Heba Press – Casablanca
The prices of red meat have experienced a significant decrease in the various markets of Morocco immediately after Eid Al -Adha, where, for example, in certain stores and markets in Casablanca, from around 140 dirhams to around 110 dirhams per kilogram, which brought a certain balance to the market after a high wave of high waves that caused a kilogram among consumers.
A certain number of butchers and professionals have been subjected to criticisms of citizens and activists on social networks in the days preceding AID AL -Adha, because of what they considered the occasion of the party to increase prices in an exaggerated manner and accumulate profits, in the light of a difficult economic circumstance and the deterioration of the power of purchase of large segments of citizens.
A certain number of activists have called for the need to boycott red meat, while urging authorities to improve surveillance mechanisms to avoid speculation and consumer protection, at a time when certain expectations indicate that prices can continue to decrease due to the abundance of supply after the drop in demand.
