Interception off the coast of Dakhla of a canoe with 91 irregular migration candidates on board


A nautical means of the Royal Navy intercepted, on Wednesday approximately 189 km southwest of Dakhla, a canoe with on board 91 Sub-Saharan candidates for irregular migration.

The intercepted people, who intended to go to the Canary Islands, received the necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, indicates a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
