Reinforced offers and preferential rates: ONCF launches the summer 2024 program

On the occasion of the 2024 summer holidays, the National Railway Office (ONCF) is preparing to welcome millions of travelers on board its trains, by organizing itself to cope with the increase in mobility characteristic of this period and ensuring that train travel is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

In this context, the transport program for summer 2024 includes reinforced offers and preferential rates for all, part of ONCF’s efforts to enable customers, whether local, foreign or Moroccans from around the world , to enjoy their vacation in Morocco.

**Reinforcement of offers from Monday June 24 to Sunday September 23, 2024**

The summer offer includes the scheduling of more than 320 trains per day, with an increase in the number of trains for destinations experiencing growing demand. This offer is detailed as follows:

**Al Boraq trains:** 30 high-speed trains scheduled per day, connecting Tangier to Kenitra, Rabat and Casablanca from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (except 1 p.m.) and until 10 p.m. on Sundays and during peak hours. In addition, Al Boraq trains connect Tangier to Meknes and Fez via connections. The number of seats is also doubled daily on some Al Boraq trains during peak hours.

**Atlas Trains:** strengthening connections between cities with more than 70 daily trains linking central Morocco to the different cities on the rail network. This includes 30 Atlas trains connecting Marrakech daily to Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and Fez according to adapted schedules (one train every hour).

The offer will also be reinforced for Fez, Oujda and Tangier, with night trains specially equipped for long journeys linking Casablanca to Nador and Oujda, offering compartments converted into hotel rooms for optimal comfort.

**Local trains:** strengthening of the Mohammed V Airport – Casablanca axis with 38 trains to and from Casablanca, i.e. one train every hour from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The complete local offer continues on the Casablanca – Rabat – Kénitra, Casablanca – Settat and Casablanca – El Jadida axes.

**3 measures to improve the ticket purchasing experience**

As part of its ongoing commitment to making its services accessible to all its customers, ONCF is implementing the following measures to improve the ticket purchasing experience by making them:

**More accessible:** by offering various distance selling channels and by facilitating online purchasing on the site www.oncf-voyages.ma with the possibility of creating an account, as well as through sales partners proximity “Tasshilat”, “Chaabi Cash” and “Cash Plus”.

**More flexible:** by providing more fare options to encourage travelers to anticipate purchasing their tickets at the best prices.

**More fluid:** by adopting close prices for certain destinations in order to reduce queues at ticket counters.

**“YALLA MOROCCO” summer card**

In addition, ONCF is launching a summer offer to meet the needs of local and foreign travelers and Moroccans living abroad. This is a multi-journey tourist card at a preferential rate of only 50 dirhams, offering a 30% discount on 10 journeys for all destinations on Al Boraq, Atlas and proximity trains. This card, available in all stations until August 31, 2024, is a real invitation to discover Morocco at a preferential rate.

In addition, all ONCF customers can benefit from a range of partner benefits: train + car service, access to the National Zoological Garden of Rabat and the museums of the National Foundation of Museums, etc.

**General mobilization**

During this summer period, the ONCF will mobilize all its human resources to support travelers during their travels, assisting and guiding them to ensure their journey in the best conditions of comfort and safety in stations and on board trains.
