The Nador region was shaken on the evening of Thursday, September 25th, by a sudden security operation that ended with the fall of one of the most dangerous associates of Moussa Azghanghan, known as his "right hand", after his name remained linked to the controversial wedding that turned into a shooting and panic scene.
Identical sources revealed that the detainee had been under close surveillance for several days, before a mixed security team moved in a well-executed operation, raiding a cafe on the coastal road between Nador and Al Hoceima, specifically in the Berwal area of the Beni Saidal El Jebel commune. The operation was carried out with extreme secrecy, and ended with the arrest of the person in question without a single shot being fired. The suspect was wanted under an official warrant issued by the Royal Gendarmerie, after being suspected of being behind the shooting incidents at the wedding, incidents that turned a night of joy into a nightmare and instilled terror in the hearts of the invitees. According to what was announced, the search operation resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of hallucinogenic pills, which are believed to have been on their way to be promoted among young people, to be sent to the laboratory to be subjected to technical expertise and to reveal their true source. This security strike is added to a series of ongoing interventions in Nador, where the specialized agencies have intensified their field operations to dismantle criminal networks and the trade in drugs and psychotropic substances, in an attempt to restore tranquility to the public street and cut off the path for gangs that threaten the stability of the region.
