Mohamed Manfalouti – HIBAPRESS
The head of the municipal council of the city of Settat, "Nadia Fadmi," confirmed in a phone call with HIBAPRESS that efforts made by her, along with the other members of the municipal council and other partners, resulted in bringing the "Salam Markets" project out of the recovery room after years of waiting, as it will see the light of day in the coming days, God willing.
"Nadia Fadmi" announced the good news to the residents of Settat and the youth of the city in general, stating that the project, which will begin construction in the coming days, will contribute to addressing the phenomenon of unemployment that the city is facing, as it is expected to provide 600 direct jobs and 1,000 indirect jobs for unemployed youth.
Furthermore, Nadia Fadmi praised the efforts made by all the interveners who contributed to addressing this file, which was advocated by the current municipal council under her leadership, to address all the problems associated with it.
The statements of the head of the council, and her confirmation that the Salam Markets project file has been closed and may soon see the light of day, is a fruit to be counted for her and the rest of her team within the municipal council. It is a positive step forward, pending the resolution of all the files that are still pending here in the capital of Chaouia, which are awaiting a bold initiative to put an end to them.
The Salam Markets project had been the subject of discussion by many people interested in local affairs, who, on more than one occasion, questioned the suspension of this project and its failure to come into existence. It is a huge project that the city was betting on to address the unemployment crisis.
