Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch announced today, Thursday, during the weekly meeting of the Government Council, the government's response to the societal demands expressed by segments of the youth, stressing its readiness to open a dialogue and a broad discussion from within institutions and public spaces.
The Prime Minister explained that he followed the unfortunate developments witnessed by a number of cities in the Kingdom during the past two days, which were characterized by a dangerous escalation in the level of breach of security and public order, and resulted in the injury of hundreds of members of the public forces and the infliction of serious damage to public and private property, in addition to the recording of the death of three people.
Akhannouch affirmed that the government, through its various party components, has interacted seriously with these youth demands, and reiterated the emphasis that dialogue is the only way to address the various problems facing the country.
He added that the approach based on dialogue will accelerate the pace of implementing public policies related to social demands, which enhances the common ambition of all Moroccans in building a more just, equitable, and stable future.
