After a short break… Rabat stadium construction workers resume work to complete it before the scheduled date

Workers on the Grand Stade de Rabat construction site benefited from a break of around a week on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, with the company overseeing the project having decided to extend workers’ leave to a full week, although they were initially set at three days.

The workers resumed their work at the beginning of this week, with a reinforcement of the workforce by new elements, due to the passage of the company to the final phase to complete the project before March next year.

According to observations from Hiba Press, work at the Rabat stadium has resumed in an accelerated manner over the past two days, with the addition of new machines to speed up the work, after the official confirmation of Morocco’s organization of the World Cup. Africa of Nations at the end of December 2025.

Workers must complete major work on the stands before mid-August, to allow the company to fit out the indoor facilities and equip the stadium with all the necessary infrastructure.

According to the current progress of the work, it is expected that the Rabat stadium site will be completed before the end of March, the initially agreed delivery date. This stadium will be one of the most beautiful in the world pending the construction of the gigantic Casablanca stadium, which will become the largest in the world in terms of capacity.
