Two people were killed and several injured following the explosion of a gas cylinder inside a house in Tangier.

Two people were killed this Tuesday evening and others were injured, following the explosion of a gas cylinder inside a house at Houmt Haddad in the city of Tangier.

According to preliminary data available to Heba Press, a gas leak caused a fire, which caused the gas cylinder inside our house to explode, killing two people and injuring five others with more or less serious burns.

The accident mobilized local authorities and prevention personnel, who went to the scene and extinguished the fire, while the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue and the injured were referred to the emergency department from the Mohammed V regional hospital in Tangier.
